ABOUT US
Lietuvos šiaurietiškojo ėjimo asociacija skatina aktyvų ir sveiką gyvenimo būdą visoje Lietuvoje.
Šiaurietiškas ėjimas – tai paprastas, tačiau labai veiksmingas judėjimo būdas, tinkantis įvairaus amžiaus žmonėms. Todėl siekiame, kad jis būtų prieinamas kiekvienam.
Taip pat organizuojame šiaurietiško ėjimo renginius, mokymus ir reguliarias treniruotes skirtinguose Lietuvos regionuose. Be to, vienijame sertifikuotus instruktorius ir aktyvią bendruomenę.
Pagrindiniai Asociacijos veiklos tikslai yra:
- promotion, popularization and development of Nordic walking;
- unification of Nordic walking enthusiasts and clubs, coordination of their activities;
- organization of seminars and events to improve the qualifications of Nordic walking specialists;
- representing the interests of association members, providing methodological assistance.
The Lithuanian Nordic Walking Association (hereinafter referred to as the Association) was established on 2011-05-24.
Asociacijos steigėjai yra Lietuvos fiziniai ir juridiniai asmenys.
EVENTS
INWA European Championships 2025
On September 12-14, 2025, the Nordic walking team from Lithuania participated in the INWA European Championships 2025, which took place in Lahti, Finland.
XII World Lithuanian Sports Games
The XII World Lithuanian Sports Games in Palanga brought together almost 3 thousand sports enthusiasts from all over the world on July 3–6, 2025. The memorable celebration of movement and national identity featured competitions in 24 sports.
MEMBERSHIP
The Lithuanian Nordic Walking Association is the only organization of its kind in this field in Lithuania. Legal entities and capable individuals over the age of 18 who are interested in Nordic walking, who accept the Association's statutes and who have paid the membership fee can become members of the Association (member or associate member).

BECOME OUR MEMBER:
A person wishing to become a member or associate member shall submit a written application to the President of the Association (hereinafter referred to as the President).
The request is considered at the next board meeting and is approved or rejected by a simple majority of the board members present.
The President shall inform the person about the decision made within one month from the date of the Board's decision.
A member or associate member becomes a member after the board adopts a resolution on the admission of a new member to the Association and after the member pays the membership fee.
